Capital is an on-going concept album begun in 2011, intended to be the soundtrack for a fictitious film set in London. The album contains two primary themes: The "London Theme", introduced track three and heard in "Fleet", "Gone Below" and "Dusk Over Hyde" among others; and "April's Theme", introduced in track two (and reprised in track seventeen) and heard in several tracks including "April", "From Pitch" and "The Sleeping City". The two themes are briefly combined in "The Loss of a Friend".
April's Theme has since appeared elsewhere, including the second half of "Oratory" from Dartmoor. The rising tones in "From Pitch" were also used in modified form in Spirit of the Frontier ("A Blood-Soaked Plain").
