Intervention was something of a departure for Wingless Films, turning away from sci-fi to attempt a two-hander with as much dialogue as humour. The film co-stars Bill Sheikh of Metal Snare Production, and what begins as a dramatic interrogation is soon revealed to be something altogether more pedestrian. The music attempts to do the same; the main theme is introduced in the first track on low strings to set up a sense of foreboding. From track two onwards, however, the tone shifts to the lighter end of the scale, with brass coming in to build the humour until the end credits music bursts out with one of my more energetic tracks. The theme is played in full in "No More Chairs".
